PAX hasn't even started. September isn't even here. Yet we're already hearing about games that will be presented at the 2012 Tokyo Game Show. Of note so far - two major 3DS titles that have yet to be announced for localization outside of Japan. For the first time, Level-5's Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney and Capcom's Monster Hunter 4 will be playable.
Andriasang has also reported on some basic statistics compiled by the show's organizers. No Wii U, Wii or DS content is scheduled to appear, but publishers have confirmed that 13 Nintendo 3DS games will be on display. That roster also includes Capcom's E.X. Troopers, an action game based on the hit Lost Planet franchise. Six Vita and five PSP titles are also confirmed to have a presence.
Keep in mind these listings don't include any titles that will be announced during or prior to the show. Additionally, Nintendo is preparing to unveil its Wii U launch plans during the month of September - it's likely details surrounding that platform's software will be unveiled then.
Tokyo Game Show 2012 takes place from September 20 through September 23. Stay tuned to IGN for all the latest on TGS.
