Every day hundreds of new apps make their debut on the App Store, and hundreds more are updated or reduced in price. We have sifted through the noise and highlighted those select few that might be worth your attention. DuckTales: Scrooge's Loot – (Freemium)
If you thought DuckTales: Remastered was a one-shot look back on the old DuckTales franchise, think again! Scrooge and his brood are back for real, this time with an all-new 3D run-and-gun treasure hunt. A-woo-hoo!
Dragon Finga – (Freemium)
A unique, finger-tapping control scheme propels this kung fu brawler.
Bravura: Quest Rush – ($1.99)
Side-scrolling RPG action is yours in Bravura. (I'm kinda diggin' the wheel-shaped world.)
Space Qube – ($2.99)
Gotta love the voxels! Create your own constructs out of the 3D pixels and take off into space to blast everything apart in wonderful, blocky explosions:
Tower of Fortune 2 – ($1.99)
What would you call this visual style? Mostly reminds me of my old Texas Instruments calculator, I think. Any way, it's impressive. Take a look:
Bloodmasque – ($2.99)
Just released about a couple of months ago, Bloodmasque is a new action/RPG from Square Enix that casts you in the role of a bloodthirsty vampire hunter (bloodthirsty because you yourself are a half-vampire). And "you yourself" is more appropriate than usual, too, because one key feature is that Bloodmasque allows you to take a picture of your own face to use as your character's face in the game. Normally $6.99, it's now on sale for less than half of that.
Osmos – ($0.99)
One of IGN's top iOS titles, Osmos has dropped down to under a dollar once again.
Osmos for iPad – ($0.99)
And the iPad version's on sale too.
That’s it for today! Email subscriptions to the App Store Update are still just one sign-up away, right here:
