On the heels of the recent reveal that Amanda Waller is coming to Arrow, we now know the actress playing her: Cynthia Addai-Robinson.
TVGuide has the news of Addai-Robinson's casting, revealing the actress will play the DC Comics character, known for running the Suicide Squad. We'll be getting the Suicide Squad on Arrow this season as well, as recurring villain Deadshot (Michael Rowe) will ally himself with the Bronze Tiger, who will be introduced in Season 2 as well, played by Spawn's Michael Jai White.

Addai-Robinson is best known for her role as Naevia on Spartacus, which ended its run earlier this year. Her casting confirms that Arrow will be basing Waller on the recent New 52 version of the character from the comics - until a couple of years ago, Waller had been portrayed as an older, heavyset woman. The Arrow producers must be Spartacus fans, as Addai-Robinson will join her fellow Spartacus alum Manu Bennett on the series, who plays Slade Wilson.
On Arrow, Waller will also connect to the show bringing in the organization A.R.G.U.S., as The Flash's upcoming introduction will bring superpowers to the series. We'll meet Amanda Waller in episode six of Arrow: Season 2.
