Though a scene of Bruce Wayne flirting with Lois Lane in front of Clark Kent is pretty much mandatory, could it be that Ben Affleck's Batman will have his own love interest in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel sequel?
According to Latino-Review, a new casting breakdown is floating around the talent agencies looking for Batman's special lady friend. Reportedly, "they're looking for someone in their late 20s and are open to all ethnicities." They also want an actress "who is both tall and possesses physicality."
So not only does the 41-year-old Batfleck like 'em young, but he likes 'em tall as well. Of course, the identity of this mystery woman is being kept secret for now, but there are a number of possibilities including Vicki Vale, Julie Madison or -- dare we say -- Selina Kyle...
In related Batman vs. Superman news, composer Hans Zimmer, who wrote the music for both Man of Steel and Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, was recently asked if he would be open to scoring Man of Steel 2. "This is really complicated for me," he said. "We all went, 'OK, we're done with Batman,' and now it's sort of getting smuggled back in. I have to have a think about that one. I might give you a new Batman if I do it."
