Phantasy Star Nova Revealed For PS Vita

At today’s Sony pre-TGS press conference in Japan, SEGA revealed an all-new PS Vita exclusive called Phantasy Star Nova.

Phantasy Star Nova takes place in the same universe as the very popular Phantasy Star Online 2 (currently unreleased in the west), but it’s an offline-centric game. It’s under development by Tri-Ace, and will be released in Japan in 2014. Whether or not it will be released outside of Japan remains to be seen.

This all-new Phantasy Star game is described as having a “strong storyline” with an emphasis on solo play, though you can play with up to four players online, should you so choose. We hope to receive more information about Phantasy Star Nova at TGS itself.
