New York Comic-Con: Cosplay Winners 2012

New York Comic-Con is quickly coming up on its San Diego counterpart, not only in attendance, but percentage of people dressed in cosplay. This year, cosplayers were out in the convention hall in record numbers, and we captured some of the best costumes to participate in our annual cosplay throwdown.

Costumes squared off, battle by battle, until over 1.6 million votes were tallied. We now present the Top Ten vote-getters in the 2012 New York Comic-Con Cosplay Battle.

Comic-Con: Cosplay Battle 2012 Winners

Comic-Con 2012 has come and gone, but we waited a little extra after the show to let Cosplay Battle 2012 rage on. As always, we tracked down and shot pics of some of the best cosplayers at the show, and let you vote on whose get-up reigned supreme.

We saw Lady Chewbacca, Nyancat, mutants galore, Monster Hunters, Disney princesses aplenty, Sith Lords, shirtless firefighters and confused bounty hunters. We saw lots of spandex, quite a few tights, and enough plastic body armor to choke a Wampa.
