More than six million people have purchased Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition. The news comes via the Twitter account of developer 4J studios, which also showed off some of the changes coming in the game’s next title update.
According to Minecraft’s stats page, the PC version of Minecraft is currently at 9.9 million. Considering we heard in December that Minecraft pocket edition has sold five million copies on iOS and Android, sales of the franchise are currently at nearly 21 million across all platforms.
4J notes that Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is set to receive its ninth title update soon following certification by Microsoft.
