Update:
Turns out the site was a Japanese promotion for When Vikings Attack. Well, it's still weird and it scares me.
What game would you tease with imagery of a man holding gigantic objects, including a steak and a British telephone box, above his head, as a spaceship zips back-and-forth in the background, while a maddeningly catchy tune plays in the background?
That's exactly what's happening on a Japanese site teasing a new PlayStation 3 and PS Vita game. The site contains 'Poi poi' in the URL. Poi could refer to the Māori performance art of swinging weights geometrical patterns. So could it possibly be some kind of rhythm action game? It's a stretch but let the speculation begin.
Thanks AGB.
