IGN AU Pubcast 78: GTA Fievel Goes West

Only a handful of people in the world outside of Rockstar Games have had the opportunity to go hands-on with Grand Theft Auto V, and we've got one of them in the Pubcast team. That's right, Luke "Just Luke is fine" Reilly has spent several hours in GTA V's Los Santos, and in episode 78 of the Pubcast we cut straight to the chase and let him talk about the game for a full 30 minutes while Tristan, Cam, Baker and Jem sit in a stunned and somewhat sticky silence.

"Oh god, I can't wait to play GTA fffnnnghh oh man, not again..."

"Oh god, I don't think I can wait any longer to play Grand Theft Auto Ffffnnnghh..." Sploosh.

After picking our collective jaws up off the floor and putting on fresh pants, we also managed to talk about all of this stuff:

Episode 78!

  • Everybody Loves Rayman Legends! Well except Jem (she's more of a fan of Spelunky Brewster).
  • Tristan compares his experience with Rocksmith 2014 to a sex act that rhymes with "new car key".
  • Papers, Please. Oppressively bleak resource management set in an Eastern Bloc immigration office? Oh, how we laughed!
  • Baker plays Saints Row IV so that the rest of us don't have to!
  • BREAKING NEWS: Jem has actually played a videogame this week! She discusses Suda 51's Killer is Dead and details why, as a woman, she wasn't offended by it (hint: she's not a moron).
  • The Xbox One is put under the microscope as the team talks launch date, pre-order bonuses and Bathurst's inclusion in Forza 5. The consensus? Free FIFA 14 = good, Peter Brock is still dead = bad.
  • Baker's hat hair is distracting almost to the point of being audible.
  • Cam talks up Titanfall, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed IV and Mad Max as the things he enjoyed most at Gamescom 2013. And here we were thinking he just went to Germany to get beard extensions.
  • Is the Nintendo 2DS the ugliest handheld ever created? Nope, that honour still goes to your penis.
  • Plus your GTA V questions answered along with the usual Facebook Mailbag, and an intro sketch that lampoons Microsoft's approach to games development!

Download it today! Episode 78!
