League of Legends Now Available on Mac

Good news, Apple fans. Riot Games has just released the Mac client for League of Legends into open beta.

The Mac client has been available on Riot’s Public Beta Environment for about a month now, allowing players to check it out in a beta tester capacity. There, they could play games, but couldn’t play against the general public. With this version of the beta client, Summoners will take their Champions into Ranked and Normal games.

Of course, League of Legends is cross-platform, so Mac and Windows users will be duking it out across Summoner’s Rift, Twisted Treeline, and The Crystal Scar.
