Though our chances of seeing a live-action sequel to Dredd 3D with Karl Urban as Dredd and Olivia Thirlby as Anderson (swoon) are slim-to-none, Judge Dredd publisher 2000AD doesn't seem content to let that universe go quite yet.

While we'll have more details in the coming months leading to San Diego Comic-Con, it seems like a pretty safe bet that there will be some sort of comic book continuation of last year's cult-favorite action flick.
Last September, the publisher launched a Dredd 3D comic book prequel before the release of the movie, exploring the origins of the movie's big bad, Ma-Ma. You can check out the motion comic incarnation below or read it here.
