In Frankenstein's Army, a group of World War II soldiers stumbles upon a Nazi plan to bring dead soldiers back to life (well, life of a sort anyway) as an army of hideous, patched together creatures. Genre fans have been anticipating this film for a while now, and it's finally screening at the Tribeca Film Festival next week in New York (with a release from Dark Sky Films also in the works).
What we've seen of director Richard Raaphorst's creature designs for Frankenstein's Army has been very cool, and today I'm excited to bring you the debut of 10 concept sketches of monsters from the film (all done by Raaphorst himself). From "Razor Teeth" to "Machete" to "Eva," I love all of these looks, and I think any horror fan will too. Check them out below -- they're just a sampling of the full roster of monsters in the finished film -- and be sure to keep an eye out for Frankenstein's Army too.
