The Battlefield 4 Open Beta will launch on October 1, EA has announced.
In a new blog post, the publisher has revealed that the beta for the upcoming shooter will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC four weeks before it officially launches .
At Gamescom last month, Electronic Arts confirmed the full list of expansion packs that will be launching for Battlefield 4 along with their release windows. We also got to take a next-generation version of the shooter for a spin, though were left with some qualms after the experience.
Battlefield 4 officially launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on October 29 in North America, October 31 in Australia and November 1 in Europe. The Xbox One version will be available on November 19 in North America and November 21 in Europe, with the PlayStation 4 version launching November 12 in North America and November 29 in Europe.
