ICO and GTA: Liberty City Stores Free for PS Plus Members

Sony is updating the PlayStation Store tomorrow with two new free games for PS Plus members: ICO and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.

ICO is a PlayStation 2 title from director Fumito Ueda, designer of Shadow of the Colossus and the oft-delayed The Last Guardian. ICO consists of a minimalist story centered around exploration, without many gameplay conceits to accompany it.

"The classic title has been an industry favorite ever since its release," Kristine Steimer, senior community specialist writes on the PlayStation Blog. "So if you haven’t had a chance to play it, you can finally learn what all the fuss was about.

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is compatible with both the PSP and PS Vita, offering fans of tomorrow's Grand Theft Auto V a way to play away from home.

Along with the two free downloads, Sony is offering the usual discounts on select titles along with tomorrow's update. The list of games and their PS Plus prices includes:

  • Kane and Lynch: Dead Men - $5.99
  • Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days - $7.99
  • Sleeping Dogs - $9.99
  • Real Boxing (PS Vita) - $8.99
  • Pixel Junk Monsters: Ultimate HD (PS Vita) - $11.99
