Watch the Newest Teaser for Upstream Color

Only a few weeks ago, we had no idea Upstream Color -- director Shane Carruth's follow-up to his great sci-fi indie Primer -- was so close to being finished. Fans have been waiting for Carruth's next film since Primer hit in 2004, and frankly, it was starting to look like such a film might never happen.

But now that Upstream Color was announced as part of the Sundance line-up in January, the film has gotten a website and couple of teaser trailers in just a matter of weeks. Here's the latest of those:

Don't ask me to explain what it all means -- I just work here. But I can tell you that this is one of my most anticipated films of 2013.

Here's the synopsis of the film:

"A man and woman are drawn together, entangled in the life cycle of an ageless organism. Identity becomes an illusion as they struggle to assemble the loose fragments of wrecked lives."
