Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Supports Cross-Save

Final Fantasy X HD and Final Fantasy X-2 HD will support cross-saves, according to the game's director.

According to RPGSite, Yoshinori Kitase confirmed the news during a presentation at the Japan Expo in Paris.

This means saves will be shared across the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of the game, so you can continue your journey through Spira regardless of whether you're at home or on the move. It's worth noting though that the PS3 version of the game will bundle both titles on one disc, while you'll have to buy them separately on Vita.

Final Fantasy X HD and Final Fantasy X-2 HD are due out on PS3 and Vita sometime later this year; earlier this week it was revealed the games are set to get a new 30-minute ending sequence.
