Cumberbatch Drops Out of Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak

Benedict Cumberbatch has dropped out of Guillermo del Toro’s haunted house flick Crimson Peak.

Variety reports that the actor has left the film due to a scheduling conflict. Jessica Chastain, Emma Stone, and Charlie Hunnam remain as the stars of the project whose schedules are not conflicting.

The film will shoot in February, so there's still plenty of time to find a replacement. Paging Tom Hiddleston…
