Actor Chris Cooper has revealed some interesting tidbits on Norman Osborn's role in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and 3, claiming "better things" are in store for the character in the third movie.
"Well, (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) is an introduction to Norman Osborn and apparently this leads to better things in Spider-Man 3," Cooper told Access Hollywood. "I think it's fair to say he's on his last legs...I don't know if I can say anything more!"

If rumors are to be believed, Norman, father to Harry Osborn (Dane Dehaan), may not be assuming the iconic Green Goblin role in Mark Webb's second movie. Back in July, we reported that it could indeed be Harry who suits up to battle Spidey for the climax of the film.
This is a vastly different storyline to the one in Sam Raimi's original Spider-Man trilogy, which had James Franco's Harry take over the Green Goblin persona from Willem Dafoe's Norman.
Recently, actor Paul Giamatti, who will play Rhino in Spidey 2, mentioned he is but one of several villains in the movie, leaving us with a lot of food for thought.
