Arnie as Toxie? Well, not quite.
Variety reports that Arnold Schwarzenegger is in talks to play a lead role in the remake of The Toxic Avenger, but not as the title character. (John Travolta has also been linked with the movie.)
The news stems from the Cannes film festival where International Film Trust is there to pitch director Steve Pink's reboot of the 1984 Troma cult classic.
"New project has been described as an action adventure geared toward mainstream auds," says the trade.
