Ubisoft has announced a new open world RPG from Massive entertainment set in the Tom Clancy universe called The Division
The game focuses on a 2001 operation called Darkwinter, which "revealed how vulnerable we've become." A trailer explained that society has become "fragile" and "complex" and noted that consumers spend millions on Black Friday and discusses how a pathogen could wipe out shoppers simply by being passed along via cash.
The trailer discussed how after a few days, the stock market would collapse, we'd lose power, and much more as society essentially collapsed. "Directive 51," signed in 2007, is said to be be preventing that.
The trailer asked "what will it take to save what remains?"
The game takes place three weeks after the infection -- an event known as Black Friday -- hit New York City. A demo took place in Brooklyn,
