PlayStation 3 Firmware Fix Coming June 27

Following the problematic release of firmware version 4.45, Sony has announced a fix will arrive on June 27. Previously, 4.45, which has since been taken offline, was preventing users from accessing their cross-media bars. Some users attempting to format their consoles to resolve the issue apparently bricked their consoles entirely, preventing their PlayStation 3s from booting.

Sony will have more information on "how to implement the solution" next week. If your XMB is busted, why not check out what the PS4's user interface will look like?
