Blizzard has revealed Diablo III Reaper of Souls at its Gamescom press conference today. Reaper of Souls will feature a new class, a new act, and additional endgame options.
The new class is the Crusader, a holy knight akin to Diablo II’s Paladin.
Reaper of Souls, described as a darker expansion, is set in the city of Westmarch.
On August 15 Blizzard launched a teaser site suggesting the first Diablo III expansion would, in fact, be called Reaper of Souls; said title was mentioned in the URL and had been trademarked at the bottom of the site.
