Do you live in Australia and enjoy beating the crap out of fellow gamers virtually, be it on an amateur or professional level? Because Australia's premier fighting game event, Shadowloo Showdown, is returning to Melbourne this October.
Run by Melbourne-based LAN/Gaming advocates ShadowLogic, Shadowloo Showdown will take place at Melbourne's The Atrium at The Flemington Race Center on October 12th-13th. Tokido and Mago of Team Mad Catz, AVerMedia's star player from Taiwan, GamerBee, and Evolution 2013 champion DM|Xian are amongst the special guests confirmed to attend. ShadowLogic is expecting more than 400 competitors will take part at this year's event.
Below is the list of official tournaments which will run at SS2k13:
- Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 2012 (Xbox 360)
- Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (Xbox 360)
- King of Fighters XIII (Xbox 360)
- Injustice: Gods Among Us (Xbox 360)
- Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (Sony PS3)
- Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown (Xbox 360)
- Super Smash Bros Melee (GameCube/Wii)
- Super Smash Bros Brawl (Nintendo Wii)
