Call of Duty: Strike Team Released on iOS

Activision has released Call of Duty: Strike Team on the App Store.

Described as "an all-new, first-person and third-person Call of Duty experience built from the ground up," the game is a 1.31GB download and will set you back £4.99 / $6.99.

Strike Team will allow you to customise your squad's loadouts and abilities before leading them into battle. You'll be able to switch from a first-person run-and-gun approach to a third-person reconnaissance view to co-ordinate attacks.

Seeing as the game is set in 2020 and follows a period of increased tension between the world's superpowers, it's sounding increasingly likely that the title's plot will lead into Call of Duty: Ghosts when it's released in November.

A campaign mode will be available alongside a survival mode, which will task you with fighting waves of increasingly difficult enemies to try and claim the top spot on global leaderboards.

Call of Duty: Strike Team isn't compatible with iPhone 4 or iPod Touch 4th Generation and requires iOS 6.0 or later.
