Kelsey Grammer Talks Transformers: Age of Extinction

Transformers 4 had a few big news items earlier this week, including producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura's confirmation of Dinobots in the movie, as well as an official announcement of the film's title: Transformers: Age Of Extinction.

Now, Empire has caught up with Kelsey Grammer, who talked a bit about his "malevolent" new role as Harold Attinger in the upcoming pic. "He's a no-nonsense guy," Grammer explained. "He's lived his life in the shadows for 30 years in the service of his country, and he likes to be unremarkable yet very efficient."

And what's it like working with director Michael Bay? "I don't know if Michael has seen Frasier," joked Grammer. "He's been very respectful and funny. He's a terrific guy and quite a filmmaker. He just said to me the other day, 'You're Kelsey Grammer -- you can do whatever you want to do.' So I guess he at least has some acquaintance with my work."

Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theaters on June 27, 2014.
