Yes, Norman Osborn is coming to director Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oscar winner Chris Cooper (Adaptation, The Muppets, The Town) has won the role of Osborn in the Sony sequel.
While comics fans know that Osborn becomes the Green Goblin, THR says its' "unclear whether Cooper will make his villainous turn in this film or in a sequel. Osborn starts out as a mentor to the superhero before turning bad."
Willem Dafoe played Osborn/Green Goblin in the earlier Spider-Man films.
Cooper's Norman Osborn joins Dane DeHaan's as Norman's son Harry Osborn, Jamie Foxx's Electro, and Paul Giamatti's Rhino in the film's rogues gallery.
