We don’t know how or when it’s going to happen, but it’s probably safe to say that humanity’s demise will begin with a deadly rebellion of sentient machines hellbent on wiping us off the face of the planet. The only question is, what exactly would that look like?
Now, IGN is teaming up with We Love Fine to find the best “Robot Uprising” t-shirt design from artists like you. We want to see your creativity and flair for apocalyptic imagery merge to form the perfect work of art. Winners could receive up to $2,500 for the grand prize, or one of the Judge's Pick prizes -- not to mention, your tee would be available for purchase at WeLoveFine.com.
On top of all that, IGN’s own Editor-in-Chief of Entertainment Chris Carle will be judging the competition alongside author/columnist Bonnie Burton and RoboGames’ David Calkins and Simone Davalos.
Here are the official rules:
- Submissions must be received by 11:59:59 PM (PST) on April 2, 2013.
- You may submit up to 5 entries per person.
- All entries must be in one of the following file formats: GIF/PNG/JPG.
- Any designs which incorporate characters that are not the original creation of the artist are subject to licensor approval before being admitted into competition.
- By entering the contest (”Promotion”), you indicate your full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, (a) the Official Rules and (b) Mighty Fine’s (”Sponsor”) decisions, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
