It's a bit late in the game, but Jeremy Piven has joined Warner Bros. and Tom Cruise's Edge of Tomorrow (formerly called All You Need Is Kill).
Before you ask, yes, shooting has already wrapped on the Doug Liman-directed feature. But Deadline reports that they've gone back to shoot a few extra scenes featuring Piven as Colonel Walter Marx. However, the studio stressed, it was always the plan to film the Piven stuff, and it shouldn't be misconstrued as a last-minute change (à la World War Z, which had to reshoot its entire third act).
As such, Edge of Tomorrow is still on track for a June 6, 2014 release.
