Behold Unused The Dark Knight Rises Posters

Three posters have surfaced that were created to publicise The Dark Knight Rises but never used.

The images were unveiled by Trailer Park, alongside several other posters that were selected to form the basis of the marketing campaign.

They look pretty different from the ones that were eventually released; two of them consist of moody greyscale shots of Batman and Bane respectively, while the final one hints at a viral marketing tactic based on Bane's mask that was considered.

New Trailer and Poster for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones

Check out the first trailer and new one-sheet for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, Screen Gems' film adaptation of the best-selling book series. Via MTV:

Set in contemporary New York City, a seemingly ordinary teenager, Clary Fray (Lily Collins), discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. More Nostalgia-Laden Angry Birds Star Wars Teasers Released

Rovio continues to make full use of the Star Wars brand to promote its upcoming mash-up Angry Birds Star Wars. Following the initial "That's No Moon!" teaser trailer the Finnish mobile game maker has released two more teasers that re-use footage from the original Star Wars trilogy in... interesting ways:

These teasers are still lacking any kind of detail on how Angry Birds Star Wars actually plays. Hopefully we'll have an opportunity to see the game itself in motion before it launches. Angry Birds Star Wars is due out for PC, Mac, iOS, Android and Windows Phone on November 8.

Wanna See a Sneak of the Iron Man 3 Trailer?

Marvel's Iron Man 3 trailer is coming next week, but fans can get a sneak peek of it via a simple Facebook like… or likes, anyway. Lots of them.

Do that by clicking on the below image, which enables Tony Stark's armor to get "charged" a bit. Once it hits a hundred percent, the video will be revealed.

Iron Man 3 will hit on May 3, 2013, starring Robert Downey, Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Ben Kingsley and Guy Pearce.

Carrie Teaser Trailer Debuts

A couple of days after it was first shown at New York Comic Con, the teaser trailer for the new movie version of Stephen King's Carrie has made its online debut, via Yahoo.

The Dark Knight Rises Blu-ray Trailer

Following New York Comic Con this past weekend, where Warner Bros. screened the Batmobile Documentary, the studio has unveiled an official trailer for the upcoming, and much-anticipated, Dark Knight Rises Blu-ray.

The sizzle reel reveals a few of the disc's bonus features including the aforementioned Batmobile documentary, as well as the film's innovative Second Screen app. Check it out:

The Dark Knight Rises Blu-ray combo pack SRP is set at $35.99, and $39.99 for the Limited Edition Bat Cowl set. The DVD SRP is $28.98. Amazon's current pre-order price is $24.99 for the Blu-ray combo pack, $35.99 for the Bat Cowl Limited Editionset, and $17.99 for the DVD.

Guess Which Avenger Will Be Back in Captain America 2?

According to E Online, the first teaser trailer will debut at 12:01 a.m. on Oct. 23. That's less than three weeks from now, so start oiling your armor now…

Iron Man 3 recently resumed filming in Florida after a short delay while Downey, Jr. recovered from an ankle injury. The film will be released on May 3, 2013.
