Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is a funny little old-school inspired action game that came to PlayStation Network late in 2011. It was pretty good. And back in March, we learned that Rocketbirds would also be coming to PlayStation Vita.
Since then, we’ve had nothing but silence about the Vita port (though it was playable on the floor of New York Comic Con). But today, the PlayStation Blog has confirmed that Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken will indeed be coming to Vita, and it’s set to arrive during the first quarter of 2013.
The game will essentially be a straight port of the PS3 version, though there will be some extras, including added touch controls, as well as new co-op characters exclusive to the Vita version. Naturally, IGN will have a full review when the game launches next year.
