Survey Hints at Co-Op Assassin’s Creed Game in 2013

A leaked customer survey suggests Ubisoft is prepping another Assassin’s Creed game for release next year, and it could include co-op.

According to photos of a survey obtained by The Gaming Liberty, Ubisoft asks players what they think of the “possibility for a friend to join the game in order to help me at any time during the solo mode” in a sequel to Assassin’s Creed 3. The survey also asks fans if they’d be likely to purchase the next Assassin’s Creed game “if it was to become available next year” and asks fans what they think of other franchises, including Uncharted.

In the past, Assassin’s Creed Revelations creative lead Alexandre Amacio said “Assassin's Creed is all about cycles” and noted that while Assassin’s Creed III would be the end of Desmond’s story, “there's many cycles within the brand - that's the whole point. History is our playground.”

While no additional games in the Assassin’s Creed franchise have been announced just yet, we do know that Assassin’s Creed III will receive episodic downloadable content packs revolving around George Washington in the coming months.

We’ve reached out to Ubisoft about the survey and will update this story with any comment we receive.
