Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning Comes Home

Action icons Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren are back for Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning, which is coming home to Blu-ray and DVD on January 22, Sony announced today.

The upcoming release comes packed with a commentary by director John Hyams and Lundgren, as well as three brand new, behind-the-scenes featurettes, all featuring cast and crew interviews; here's the description from the announcement:

"'Coming Into Focus' looks at the characters in the film, the making-of several sequences, and the challenges of shooting those scenes. 'There Is No End' chronicles the final scene along with the weapons and stunts used to create it. In 'Production Wrap,' cast and crew discus the production of the film, along with an in-depth look at some of the last days on set, fight rehearsals and stunt choreography."

This fourth installment picks up where the third film left off. The franchise centers on Luc Devereaux (Van Damme) and Andrew Scott (Lundgren), two soldiers who kill each other in Vietnam but are subsequently reanimated through a secret government project along with a large group of other once dead soldiers.
