Wilfred co-creators Cody Heller and Brett Konner are bringing Deadbeat, a new supernatural comedy, to Hulu, Deadline reports. The outlet has ordered 10 episodes of the series which follows a medium who works with the spirits of New York to clean up their unfinished business.
Flight of the Conchords executive producer Troy Miller is set to direct the premiere episode and exec produce the remainder of the season. Lionsgate TV and Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner and Sarah Esberg of Brad Pitt's Plan B will produce. The series is set to launch on Hulu and Hulu Plus in 2014 with Lionsgate set to distribute internationally.
