Firaxis Teases More XCOM on the Way

In addition to revealing XCOM: Enemy Unknown for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch at its PAX East panel, developer Firaxis also provided the faintest of teases regarding a potential XCOM sequel or expansion.

The brief (very brief - just a few second long) video showed The Council greeting panel attendees with a familiar message - "Hello, Commander." The shadowy council spokesman then began to warn of a "new threat," before the signal became filled with static and lost.

While it certainly would have been nice to have more details on the future of XCOM, today's PAX East tease does at least confirm that more XCOM is in the works within Firaxis. IGN will have more on this mysterious future XCOM product as it becomes available.
