Capcom has released a new trailer for Deep Down, which you can watch below.
The game was first announced back in February at the PlayStation 4 reveal. Since then, we've heard little about it, but this new trailer, while short, hints at a much darker side to the game.
You can pick out voices, saying "Would you like to see my painting?" "It is my fate to die here," "You won't make it out alive" and "Happiness... Yes, I had happiness." The tone is more befitting of a horror title, than a straight-up fantasy RPG it originally appeared to be.
But perhaps most interesting is the Capcom Online Games logo that appears at the beginning of the trailer. Translations of the Japanese site indicate that it's an online game of some sort. Rumours are now swirling that it could be MMORPG or something more akin to Dark Souls' approach to online, in which players interact but communication between them is deliberately limited.
Currently, Deep Down has only been announced for the PlayStation 4.
