Could this be Vin Diesel's Marvel movie role? It certainly seems like that's what the Riddick and Fast & Furious actor is telling fans.
Diesel posted the image below of the extraterrestrial plant monster Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy to his Facebook page today. There was no accompanying message from Diesel to explain why.

Diesel said at July's San Diego Comic-Con that there would be news on his Marvel role by the end of the month. We're almost midway through August and there still hasn't been an official announcement on Diesel's casting. That's all the more curious since, if Diesel is indeed voicing Groot, he'll only say one thing throughout: "I am Groot!"
