Michael Bay's Pain & Gain is now bound for a Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and On Demand release, available August 27, 2013 from Paramount Home Media Distribution. And as an added bonus, the film will be available two weeks early on Digital starting August 13.
Based on a true story, Pain & Gain stars Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie as a group of personal trainers in 1990s Miami who, in pursuit of the American Dream, get caught up in a criminal enterprise that goes horribly wrong.
The Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack is also enabled with UltraViolet and will retail for $39.99. The single-disc DVD release, meanwhile, will go for $29.99.
