Double Fine’s Adventure Game Named Broken Age

Double Fine has announced that its new adventure game is called Broken Age. The news comes via Double Fine’s panel at PAX East today, which also coincided with the reveal of Broken Age’s official site.

According to the site, Broken Age “is a point-and-click adventure telling the stories of a young boy and girl leading parallel lives. The girl has been chosen by her village to be sacrificed to a terrible monster--but she decides to fight back. Meanwhile, a boy on a spaceship is living a solitary life under the care of a motherly computer, but he wants to break free to lead adventures and do good in the world. Adventures ensue.”

Broken Age was previously codenamed Reds and was funded by Kickstarter in March of last year. It will be headed to PC, iOS, Android, Mac, Linux and Ouya at launch.
