Doctor Who is returning to the UK screens this coming Easter weekend. In a statement on the BBC website, the channel announced that the second half of series seven will commence on March 30, 2013.
The first episode will be written by show-runner Steven Moffat, and directed by Colm McCarthy, who has previously worked on the likes of Hustle, Spooks and Endeavour.
Later episodes will be written by the likes of Mark Gatiss and Neil Gaiman, with the series promising to reveal more about the mysterious, twice-dead new companion Clara.
There’s no word yet on the U.S. air-date, but expect the show to hit American screens around the same time.
Chris Tilly is the Entertainment Editor for IGN in the UK and thinks that Clara is Keyser Soze. His words can be found on both Twitter and MyIGN.
