Just in case you were looking to buy a house just like Spencer’s Mansion from the first Resident Evil, this infographic will help you figure out how much to save.
Some intrepid Resident Evil fans have measured every square foot of the Spencer’s Mansion by extrapolating from a standard size of a door. Then, they took the price per square foot from Springfield, MO -- the city bearing the most resemblance to the fictional Raccoon City -- and did the math to find how much the place would cost.
The result? If Spencer’s Mansion were real, it would likely set you back $1,751,625. That is, before you take into account the rampant zombie infestation. You could probably convince a realtor to discount some for that.
