When Jason David Frank appeared at C2E2 last month, he was somewhat coy about whether he'd be appearing as Tommy Oliver in Power Rangers: Megaforce this year, as the franchise celebrates its 20th anniversary. However, Frank isn't holding back any longer, posting several pictures from the New Zealand set of the series on his Facebook page, confirming he's back... and in a familiar green costume.

Jason David Frank Looks Back on Power Rangers
Among the photos Frank posted are also one of him holding a weapon that fans will recognize as Saba, the White Ranger's sword, implying Frank will appear as at least two of the five different Ranger variations Tommy has become through the years.
Frank will be joined in the 20th anniversary story by several other Power Rangers alum from through the years, some of whom he has posted photos with. It does seem however as though Frank will be the only person representing the original, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers era. David Yost and Walter Jones both have let it be known they've passed on the reunion, and given Amy Jo Johnson and Austin St. John's lack of participation in Power Rangers events in recent years, it never seemed likely they would take part in Megaforce (Thuy Trang sadly passed away in 2001).
Power Rangers: Season 1-7 DVD Collection Review
Still, Frank is arguably the most popular Ranger in the show's history and having him back for this event will be a big draw for fans.... including some reading this, I'm guessing.
