Deep Silver has revealed the Zombie Bait Edition of Dead Island Riptide. Set to come to the UK, the Zombie Bait Edition includes steelbook packaging, collectors’ artwork and weapon downloadable content in addition to a 12-inch statue of a bikini-clad torso with its head and limbs removed.
According to Deep Silver sales and marketing director Paul Nicholls, "we wanted to provide a unique collector’s edition that was utterly ‘Dead Island’ and would make a striking conversation piece on any discerning zombie gamer’s mantel.” Deep Silver called the statue a "grotesque take on an iconic Roman marble torso sculpture."
The Zombie Bait Edition will be released exclusively in the UK for £99.99 ($160). In North America, players will instead receive the Rigor Mortis edition, which offers a Zombie hula girl bobblehead, bloody zombie arm bottle opener, bungalow key keychain and replica suitcase packaging.
Dead Island Riptide will hit stores on April 23rd.
