Over the past couple of days, I’ve received numerous messages on Twitter and Facebook from IGN readers anxious to show me – a huge old-school Mega Man fan – a rather cool project that a fellow fan recently undertook. As pointed out on Crunchyroll, a man named Ricardo crafted each and every Robot Master from Mega Man 1-10 in cold porcelain. And the end result is astounding.
The original Mega Man had six Robot Masters; each subsequent core Mega Man game had eight. So that’s 78 Robot Masters represented (though only two from Rockman & Forte are here, the game long considered Mega Man 9 before the real thing actually happened… and those two are also in Mega Man 8). Mega Man and Proto Man were also crafted, bringing the total of porcelain-crafted robots to 80.
You can click here to see a large picture of each and every Robot Master, but below, I’ve gone ahead and taken out my personal five favorite Robot Masters to see how they came out.
Let us know in the comments your favorite Mega Man Robot Master(s), and which of Ricardo’s creations you think came out best.
