IGN All-Stars: It's Time For Your Contributions to Shine

IGN All-Stars is a new program designed to recognize members from the community, who have done such really great things as offering detailed tips for a mobile game, plotting map points in the Skyrim interactive map, sharing a very personal story about using video games as grief management, or just turning much of the IGN staff into cartoons for fun.

We want to shine the spotlight on community members like you and your contributions; to hand you the megaphone to blast the stats of all 654 Pokemon, strategies for raids in World of Warcraft, or your thoughts on game storytelling on IGN.

That’s right. On IGN.

Just imagine the wiki or blog you worked so hard on being slapped on the front page of IGN -- with your name on it -- and sitting cozily next to breaking news by Andrew Goldfarb, an intelligent feature by Colin Campbell, or a critical review by Greg Miller. That’s simply one of the perks of being an All-Star. If your dream is to someday write about things you love as a career, this is the best time to start getting involved…and maybe even get noticed.

What gets you noticed?

No doubt that contributions and encyclopedic knowledge are awesome, but we’re also looking for people who are model community members, and actively engage on the site in a friendly, helpful, and respectful way. IGN is a huge bowl of fruit, but nobody wants the bad apples.

Don’t sit around waiting for an invitation – make yourself heard and known! Find out more about how you can join IGN All-Stars by visiting the spiffy /all-stars page.

In the meantime, talk to some of our current All-Stars like kiera2, LeCambrioleur, and nagato188, and come find out exactly what makes our community so great.

Stephanie Lee is the Community Development Manager at IGN and thinks Adventure Time is tops blooby. Follow her at Stephanie-IGN and @superLEE7 on Twitter for general zaniness and pictures of food.
