Official Character Art for Pokémon X and Y

The first bit of official character art for Pokémon X and Y has been released, showing off the game's new starters and legendaries.

We'll begin by taking a look at the concept art for Fire starter Fennekin (with a couple of screenshots for good measure)...

Up next we have Water starter Froakie...

Here we have our Grass starter, Chespin...

And just in case Xerneas (the deer-like legendary) and Yveltal (the bird legendary) were getting jealous, we have some fresh concept art for them as well...

And finally, just in case the concept of Fire beating Water has alluded you these past 15 years, the Pokémon Company International has also released this, ehem, helpful chart.
