Two new models of the super slim PS3 have been unveiled for Japan and we think it's fair to say they're beautiful.
The Garnet Red and Azurite Blue models will be available for a limited time only from February 28 for ¥24,980, which is roughly $250.
The systems will come with 250GB internal hard drives, just like the black and white versions do, as well as have matching DualShock controllers.
While it's a bit sad that there nothing's been announced regarding a Western release, don't lose hope just yet. This is exactly what happened with the white model that was unveiled at last year's TGS, which we discovered this week was going to be coming to North America.
We've reached out to Sony for comment on whether the newly unveiled SKUs will be coming West and whether Europe and Australia will ever see the white model. We'll update this story as soon as we hear anything.
Cheers, Destructoid.
Luke Karmali is IGN's UK Editorial Assistant and would sell his family for the red model. You too can revel in mediocrity by following him on IGN and on Twitter.
