Daily Fix Headlines for May 6, 2013

Just reveal it already! That’s the common reaction to the continuous onslaught of rumors surrounding Microsoft’s next Xbox console as we get closer and closer to the big date (only 15 more days, guys). However, the most recent word on the streets touches on the very big issue of always-online so you might want to read up. And two game announcements hit the tarmac today – yup, EA and PopCap have something special for you. Finally, my best fictional friend, Tony Stark, has something to celebrate about as Iron Man 3 reaches a very high point in box office sales. More in today’s episode of The Fix!

Here are the stories we covered:

An email reportedly sent to Microsoft employees seems to debunk rumors that the next Xbox will constantly require an internet connection. Details on that and more!

Register a domain name and risk giving it all away. That’s what Microsoft did and now we have hints as to what the next Xbox will actually be called.

PopCap has announced the official title for the long-awaited sequel to Plants Vs. Zombies. Click for its slated release and official title.

EA has announced The Sims 4 and whether it will require always-online internet connection. Beginning to notice a pattern here…

We all knew Iron Man 3 would bring in the big bucks but where does it stand in comparison to one of last year’s biggest blockbuster?
