IGN AU Pubcast 70: Your Move, Creep

Way back in darkest days of 2011 the embattled city of Detroit launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to erect something that would buoy the sagging spirits of its loyal citizens. Something the whole city could gaze upon with pride and, just perhaps, shed a single, salty man tear. Something powerful.

That something was a 10-foot tall statue of RoboCop.

Erect is an appropriate choice of word.

Two years after the successful campaign, the magnificent sculpture is nearly complete. Only the bronzing stage remains. Two years after the successful campaign, however, and precisely zero other cities have followed suit. Where is NY's John McClane colossus? He could stand beside the Statue of Liberty, a stark warning to international super-thieves that crime doesn't pay. Where is LA's Rigg's & Murtaugh statue, forever standing back to back in steadfast solidarity? Diplomatic immunity? Not if they have anything to say about it. Where was the guy in Timecop from, and why isn't there a statue of him there?

Isn't this what Kickstarter is for? Get on it, America!

Episode 70!

  • Daniel Craig! Does he have weasely eyes? What does that even mean?
  • Luigi's Mansion 2! The first reason for some time for Jem to go looking for her 3DS charger.
  • Remember Me! Lucy's played it, and it has nothing to do with the Robert Pattinson movie.
  • Gran Turismo 6! It's a thing, that got announced. Listen to Luke talk about it while all the fracks the rest of the team have to give evaporate.
  • Would you pay $130 for a copy of NBA Jam for Mega Drive? You did if you bought it in 1993!
  • Creepy YouTube commenters: sorry, Luke doesn't have any Kiwi cousins and Lucy hasn't seen you naked.
  • Medieval Times: The Movie and why they should make more films based on restaurants.
  • Why a mediocre episode of Community Season 4 is still better than the single best episode of The Big Bang Theory they've ever filmed.
  • Now featuring a new svelte file size! Just think of all the things you could do with that extra bandwidth!

Download it today! Episode 70!
