Community Gets Its Own Fan Convention

Calling all Human Beings! CommuniCon, a fan created convention for supporters of NBC’s Community, is headed to Los Angeles City College (where the bulk of the show’s exteriors are shot) on February 9-10 to commemorate the February 7 premiere of Season 4.

The Con is expected to include possible panels from the cast and crew, trivia contests, costume parades, viewing marathons, meet and greets aaaaaand "(small) blanket fort building, scheduled group hugs, Yahtzee, foosball, karaoke, pop ‘n’ lock-a-thon and a video game station with Journey To The Center Of Hawkthorne."

We can’t confirm that any of the stars will be in attendance, but Community creator Dan Harmon and several of the writers have expressed their interest via twitter. You can find more information by following @CommuniConNews or heading over to the convention’s Tumblr.

It should be noted the Harmon and several members of the cast did make an appearance at the fan driven art show "Six Seasons and a Movie Art Show" in June.

Thanks for the heads up A.V. Club!

Community premieres on NBC on Thursday, February 7 at 8pm PST.
