Group B- CLG.EU defeat their sister team CLG.NA and go into winners

From the word go CLG.EU had this game in the bag. Prime did a truly impressive job of delaying inevitable but that did not spot it from being inevitable.

CLG.EU invaded the CLG.P jungle and took three kills for free. First blood for Ezreal and a kill each for Lux and Rumble, putting all of their lanes ahead from level one. A 2000g lead before the first minion dies is one hell of a way to start a game, CLG.P had their work cut out for them. CLG.EU took the next kill as well and Ezreal bought his phage at the six minute mark.

The aggression paused for awhile, with EU just poking and looking for the best opening possible and Prime just trying to farm up to undermine how far they were behind. Prime decided to make a play on EU’s blue buff- but all that ended up happening was EU took two more kills and the mid turret. At 15 minutes EU had a 6000g lead, which is just massive for the early point in the game.

More fights, more kills for EU. Snoopeh finally died after getting taunted under tower. This took the score to 9-1 in EU’s favor and they were approaching the 10k lead line at the 20 minute mark. Prime did manage to secure a second kill but EU took an Inhib instead. EU took another Inhib and looked to be pressing to win when Prime had a great teamfight and pushed them out of their base. EU was still 8k gold ahead though, with super minions on their side. EU picked up Baron and took the game 15-5, ten towers to zero.

MVP: Every lane won, it was such a one-sided game with EU so far ahead picking a single MVP is a little pointless. The level one fight won them the game and that was a pure team effort, CLG.EU played fantastically.

A very one sided game, Prime did their best to hold on and actually prolonged the game much further than expected after that level one fight. However, it was nowhere near enough EU earned their place in the winners bracket.
